Katy Perry says that her relationship with Russell Brand is a “special thing” that they want to keep away from the media spotlight.

The singer, who’s presenting the MTV Europe Music Awards tonight (5 November), said the pair’s romance was going well despite the attention.

However, Katy, said she wasn’t sure whether her boyfriend would approve of her cabaret-themed outfit for the Berlin awards.

“Lace and feathers and crystals and corsets… I think it’s going to be dark and sexy and romantic,” she admitted. “And a little bit naughty here and there.
